Dr. Heileene Torres Colberg, MD
Medchic: Family Medicine & Women's Health
After completing her medicine studies and then, her 3 year training in the specialty of Family Medicine in Puerto Rico, Dr. Torres-Colberg was conferred with the Academic Achievement Award and certified as Diplomate of the American Board of Family Medicine in 2014.
She also completed her first fellowship in Maternal Child Health/Surgical Obstetrics and a second fellowship in Faculty Development; both in the city of Chicago, IL. She was also recognized by her medical school with the 2016 Notable Alumna Award.
Dr. Torres-Colberg is a Faculty Member of the Auxilio Mutuo Hospital and Associated Professor at the Family Medicine Residency of the University of Puerto Rico.
Dr. Torres-Colberg currently holds the position of Elected President of the Board of Directors of the Academy of Family Physicians of Puerto Rico as is current President of the Women’s Health Society of Puerto Rico.
